From Jody
“I am a psychotherapist who provides an opportunity for healing and growth. I have been working in the mental health field for over 12 years and co-founded two psychotherapy clinics during that time. Using evidence-based therapies such as CBT and EMDR to treat a broad range of symptoms, such as anxiety and depression, has resulted in positive outcomes for my clients. Creating an environment of acceptance and transparency is paramount to her practice. I attended McMaster University, achieving a B.A degree and Family Mediation Diploma. After gaining experience in the mental health field, I specialized in psychotherapy and earned a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Since then, I have gained invaluable experience and training that has allowed me to focus on the issue’s root rather than just the symptoms. “I believe we all can heal emotional wounds and thrive; my role is to facilitate that healing process.”
