From Kim

“I am very excited to join the Beyond Trauma Recovery Centre team! My career in mental health has been a lengthy journey. With a diverse
background and over 7 years of experience in the mental health field, I am registered with both the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as
well as the College of Nurses of Ontario, and have a background as a first responder.

I am a Master’s level registered psychotherapist (qualifying) under clinical supervision available at a reduced fee. I provide evidence-based
psychotherapy in a safe and supportive space for individual adults to explore and heal core wounds and current struggles in order to discover better
possibilities for the future and authentic expression.

My undergraduate studies consisted of an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree specialized in psychology with focus on personality psychology, as well as another
undergraduate degree in nursing, specialized in mental health.

My areas ofinterest include helping those with trauma and PTSD, impacts of repetitive trauma, dissociative symptoms, moral injuries, challenging relationship
dynamics, codependent relationship patterns, autoimmune and chronic physical illness, and issues surrounding helplessness and personal power.

I am constantly expanding upon my knowledge of trauma, adapting my approach, and enjoy integrating various evidence-based treatment
modalities.

On a personal note, I enjoy painting, ceramics, martial arts, skijoring and bikejoring with my dog, spending time with my son, and ongoing learning in
the field. I am looking forward to connecting with you!”
