“I am a registered social worker who works from a strength-based and trauma-informed mindset to empower you to heal, grow and focus on improving your quality of life. I understand the challenges life presents to us and believe everyone has the potential to embrace these trying moments and create healthy changes and personal growth. I understand the importance of building a therapeutic relationship to support you through this journey of change. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and are deserving of a space to be heard and feel seen.

My journey in practice started ten years ago when I provided counselling and support to those struggling with mental health in both a hospital and community setting, then specialized in working with children, youth and their families through challenging times they were experiencing in their lives. With these experiences, it led me to continue my training with a focus on trauma-based treatment modalities to understand the body as a whole. 

I use evidence-based practices to understand the deeper roots of the challenges you face today and will work collaboratively to develop a pathway for healing the mind and body. Together we will learn new skills and resources as well as begin to understand where you are at in your journey and navigate through these difficult moments.

Personal Tidbit: During my downtime, you can find me camping, kayaking, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with my husband and dog, Charlie. I also enjoy reading to relax and unwind or spending time by the fire at the end of the day.”
